Our Platinum and Diamond tiers place you in properties adjoining the Haram itself, including Swissotel Al Maqam and Fairmont in Makkah, and Anwar Al Madinah Movenpick and Hilton Madinah in Madinah. For elderly pilgrims, or anyone intending to pray every prayer in the Haram, this is the difference that matters most.
Mid-tier packages use hotels between roughly 100 and 450 metres out, including Dallah Taiba, Taiba Front, Maden Hotel and Le Meridien. These remain a comfortable walk for most pilgrims while costing considerably less than the front row.
Economy and Bronze packages use properties between 700 metres and a kilometre, such as Mira Ajyad, Emaar Grand, Shohada and Makarem Ajyad. Where a hotel sits further out, transport is arranged so that you are not left to manage the distance on foot.
Hotels listed as “or similar” may be substituted with accommodation of the same standard or better. If that happens, we tell you before departure rather than letting you discover it at check-in.
